Tien Singh, co-founder of the Dark Arcadian core concepts, and known by no other name, was declared Dark Arcadian Citizen 04:28 UCT, Wednesday, 28th of March 2007. The following log has been posted with her permission (timestamps are UCT+2).

Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:01:14): Because it is a current subject, and one that has struck you deeply, I would like to hear a bit of your honest musings about Succubus, and, if you wish, about the situation of The Abyss City as a whole. You can take your time with that - any amount of rambling will do. (Though, let me know if you rather want a dialogue between us or a monologue from you on the subject - if latter, let me know when it finishes. :) )

Tien Singh (05:06:26): Honestly, I'm ready to strangle her. I get the whole she doesnt think she's done anything wrong. I don't know if leetha/dr or anyone else thats been pming info to us is doing it cuz she asked them to convey her feelings, but I honestly don't think thats the case. (dialouge is fine :P I hate rambling)
Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:07:27): What do you think is the cause for Succi's frustrations?
Tien Singh (05:10:50): I think its cuz it involved Denali alts and she feels they're always attacking her. And ergo, whether or not the involved alts were clanmates/friends ICly, she sees it as an OOC attack.
Tien Singh (05:11:27): Which is further worsened by the fact she was reported for having Devine on the field. Which she probably sees as B being a sore loser.
Tien Singh (05:12:09): Cuz all of B's side died, so Succi probably sees the fact she was reported as B trying to get at her.
Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:12:58): *nods, thinks that's all pretty likely* What do you think she wants to achieve?

Tien Singh (05:14:02): Ultimately yes.
Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:17:52): Then I disagree. It's one of a few options, though the other options become increasingly unlikely as time goes on. As far as I can tell, Succi just wants to fight for the Abyss like it was - she focusses on the Denali because they, frankly, have a big mouth, and upset a lot of people. She doesn't like it when people get upset - she's fiercely protective. Since the situation escalated, this is hard to see, because she's doing a lot of the things she's actually against. But she just can't see that anymore. The Denali "issue" is like a brick wall. She'd be just as happy if the Denali somehow proved a (in her eyes) "change of mind". Of course, such proof is essentially impossible to do. (continued)
Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:19:50): The only option (not very feasible!) I see is the Denali coming forth to Succi in a friendly manner and giving her their alts' passwords as gesture of goodwill - or something else that will pluck Denali control from Denali alts, and be a gesture that they can, in fact, talk to others as human beings. Either way - I don't as such claim to have a solution. This is just for perspective. :)

Tien Singh (05:24:02): See from what I remember...She's hated B since before Denali. I can't even remember why anymore, but I do remember she's been oh so pissed off about LOTUS since LOTUS opened. I believe it was because she felt B was trying to get one up on her and compete with MF
Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:25:42): Jealousy may also play a role. But jealousy alone is typically a low fire. She never lost particularly much popularity because of B - only because of her own actions in later times. But in the end, of course, neither of us knows. Chances are, Succubus doesn't even know it herself (consciously).

Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:26:32): Do you think peace, if it is ever achieved, is more likely to come from the Denali side or from the Succubus side? And why?
Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:26:58): (I realise both is ridiculously unlikely - thickskulls all around. Apologies for a stupidly hard question.)
Tien Singh (05:28:46): Denali. My general feeling is they couldn't care less about Succi and are pretty content to ignore her for the most part - except for those clanned alts that do tend to hit Succi because shes a major IC figure. And if I recall correctly, the last non-interaction was upheld on their end for the time it lasted.
Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:29:33): *would agree, if for different reasons - namely that Succi is, unfortunately, more or less a lost cause, at least in these current weeks*

Tien Singh (05:35:50): What I'm finding interested is Succi seems to be turning even on people who were her closest friends. She tossed Synangel outta MFE without a word to him about it. It looks like she either tossed DR out or he left, I'm not sure on that one, but I suspect it was a toss. But I don't get why she'd start tossing people out she's trusted for ages.

Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:40:50): Perhaps you'll recognise it as an action of sheer desperation. If all seems to fail - and you're really convinced you're doing something right - then paranoia sets in.
Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:42:04): Those aren't rational decisions. Perhaps she will regret it. But then, pride sets in, and one does not apologise, and one does not agree with those making the observation that it is being regretted, or should be regretted, or whatnot.

Neike Taika-Tessaro (05:50:55): Far more abstract: what would have to happen for you to give someone online your phonenumber? (Whether so they can keep in touch whilst something ails them (in which case it'd be interesting to know at what point of ailment you would give it out), or they just deserve the RL contact because you consider them cool (in which case I'd be interested in the personality traits you would deem worthy of this), or they do some action that prompts it (in which case the possible action would be interesting) is up to you.)
Tien Singh (05:53:56): It depends on the person and circumstances. But I never give out my house phone number, just my cell. For someone to get my number, they have to prove they're not some sorta psycho, thats either gonna call me all the time or use the number to stalk me.
Tien Singh (05:55:17): In most cases, I don't give my number (or address) out until i've talked to the person and consider them a friend. Trustworthy, considerate, kind, caring.

Tien Singh (06:04:31): Could be any major problem that involves a mutal friend (one that comes to mind is a friend that was pretty much what we'd consider here kidnapped - but there since her guardians gave the guy the ok to take her, she was stuck with him against her will... and shes over 18) or some sort of personal problem where they may need to talk or need a message relayer

Neike Taika-Tessaro (06:14:46): Re: Succubus. There is nothing wrong with, even as a moderator, occasionally losing grip of "Assume goodwill". I know you don't do it often, and that's what counts. Of course, I more or less told you what the "ideal" would be, but again, we're human. I never really had to deal with people accusing me like Succi did, except once. Ophy. I didn't assume goodwill with her, either. I still, in fact, can't. Some things just elude one's attempts at objectivity - even if one attempts them. Fortunately, that is what friends, for example, are there for. :) So, I give you something like an A- for that - and know I wouldn't have answered much differently if you'd asked me about Ophy. You put a lot of thought into the whys and behind the scenes musings. In a word: you're incredibly observant.

Neike Taika-Tessaro (06:21:34): Re: Phonenumber. I think you could use more trust in people. The internet is not the big bad www that people might make you believe. You've a solid empathy to base stuff on - trust yourself a little more. If your gut doesn't tell you someone is trouble more or less right off, you can pretty much (because of who you are) know they won't do anything bad with your phonenumber. So, I think, a bit too introverted. But you're already very open to "mere" gut-feeling in cases of emergency, which is good. You have a good, solid idea of what constitutes an emergency. Though, to list "trustworthy" as an attribute one has to have to gain your trust is... well. :D Details. I don't want to give this any direct mark as it's very abstract, and abstract things are hard to discuss, period. (continued)
Neike Taika-Tessaro (06:25:41): Though, in a nutshell: you care. You expect people to do the same. There'd not much imbalance here except for in the kindness department - where it would be kinder to be a little more open with such things. Differently worded - you are wary of people, but you don't want people to be wary of you. No biggie.
