All right, I give up. 
I've spent a month or so trying to come up with a nice name for a webgame with an unspecified topic. It'll be a gridgame, yes, and knowing me, probably involve vampires  but honestly, apart from the gridgame aspect, I'm not going to make a sure statement about anything.
I'm being incredibly picky, which means I'm insisting on domain names that will (1) sound nice, (2) look nice, (3) look nice in the adress bar of a browser, flanked by the http://www and first-level domain.
Good suggestions so far:

Other considerations have either (1) been taken (usually by a spam site), (2) not sounded nice, (3) not been short enough to look nice (e.g. 'nightmarearchitect'), (4) not looked nice in general.
Top-level domains being considered: .net, .com, .org or .eu - I strongly favour .net for shadowpitch and thorngale, but that doesn't mean I might favour it for other suggestions.
Note - the domain name and game name must not match. Just because I might end up choosing thorngale as the domain name does not imply the game will be called that.

| If it's not yet taken, I'll probably take thorngale. I'm not yet sure if I'm going to get myself either extra bandwidth or extra webspace or both, though, so actual registration will take a while. |

Won't be anything on it for a while, mind. I noticed I could just upgrade my webhosting package instead of getting a new one - so I needn't buy additional bandwidth or webspace as such, it's all shared with pinkgothic.com, which is now a lot more whammo than it was before.
In fact: Wheeeeeeee, more space and bandwidth! That's almost an incentive to get more active again. |
