Stupidity and painfulness

Due to painful stupidity on my side, I've lost my local digital notes on Dark Arcadia.

Fortunately, there were never many notes to begin with (I carry most of them on real life paper and my head), but, blah.

I'm getting a new laptop (presumably tomorrow), and I was moving files from my laptop to out network storage, and deleting things off my laptop after they'd safely transferred. Unfortunately, when not paying total attention, I ended up removing the only (network storage) copy of three of my folders - one of them was "Dark Arcadia".

I also lost some other stuff, but fortunately, all of this is mostly trivial. The worst thing was a few silly chat logs I kept around which I just assume might've eventually gotten useful, but never had specific plans with. So, it's mostly the emotional damage of having done something so stupid.
