As the last quasi-democratic process in Dark Arcadia, a first Citizen has to be decided for, otherwise things'll be incredibly bizarre. Since everyone now has a formal name, I get to make a nice, proper poll! Whee. *gives everyone a very informal bonecrunching hug for no reason*

phpBB doesn't allow you to change your vote, so consider it carefully before you make it. I'm going to be brooding over it for a while, personally. At the same time, I've set a timelimit of 14 days on the poll. I'd of course like to see four votes pitched in by the time it finishes, but to avoid further stagnation, I think a timelimit is sane.

First, let me do an informal response:

*shakes fist* You bastards! How dare you vote for me. If I'd wanted to rule Dark Arcadia's first incarnation, I'd've made it a dictatorship! *shakes fist more* TRAITORS. HEATHENS, even! *cough, hack, cough* *wheezes* You'll pay for this yet! You think you know torture? You've seen nothing yet. NOTHING. NOTH- *coughing fit*

And now, the formal:

Thank you, all, for the vote of confidence. I fear I am not as fit for the job as you may think, but I pledge myself to the constitution (as it is now as well as it will be), and pledge to make the best of my position for the whole of the nation.

I realise my first job as an Archon of Dark Arcadia, following the finalisation of the constitution, is to haul the rest of you into the boat. For that, I will have to finalise an idea of the Citizen Application Forms. Unfortunately, my macronational time is limited at the moment, but rest assured the subject will not remain stagnant forever. I have two hours two and from work with naught to do in that time (usually), so I should have plenty of opportunity to consider the issue.

Note: Your input remains cherished and appreciated. If any of you have suggestions in the matter or even full designs, I'll most gladly incorporate them into any thoughts on my end. I believe if we work together on this, we can shorten the time considerably. That said, I would like to stress that none of you are obliged to donate your time, either.

Regardless of all my pessimism in regards to my schedule: Please know there is little else with more priority. My personal deadline is in two weeks from now (the 4th of March), and I hope to finish my job well before the time.
